Curator and art historian Michelle Kuo visited the studio in January 2018, sharing some of her research on the 1960s group Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T.) and describing why she is interested in how contemporary artists explore new systems for thinking about the future.
Kuo, formerly editor in chief of Artforum International (2010–17), joined the Museum of Modern Art in New York in summer 2018 as the Marlene Hess Curator of Painting and Sculpture. Her extensive essay on Eliasson introduces 'Olafur Eliasson: Experience', a major monograph covering three decades of his career in 440 pages, released in autumn 2018 by Phaidon Press.
